Expectations
Work
Students are expected to complete assignments posted in Google Classroom by the
deadlines provided. All assignments will align with the current curriculum and instructional
standards. Students have up to three school days to complete and submit work for full
credit, per SCDE guidelines.


Online Presence
Students are encouraged to log into Google Classroom by 9:00 AM and stay engaged with
posted lessons, announcements, and feedback throughout the day. Participation in teacher
office hours or scheduled virtual sessions is highly encouraged.

 

Attendance
Attendance will be determined by student engagement in Google Classroom and timely
assignment completion. Students are expected to log in and interact with posted materials.
Teachers will document daily participation and update attendance in PowerSchool.

 

LMS Access
Students access all eLearning materials via Google Classroom

Schedule
Teachers are available to students for live virtual help or instructional support during
scheduled office hours:
- 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Core subjects (Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies)
- 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Electives and support staff
- 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Individual support and makeup assistance

All schoolwide updates and communications with families during eLearning days will be
sent via ParentSquare and shared on the school’s social media accounts (Facebook,
Instagram, and Twitter).

Troubleshooting
IT Support Protocol:
1. Contact your teacher first for help navigating Google Classroom or class materials.
2. Issues beyond classroom or device-level will be escalated to our charter network
technology coordinator for further support.
Support is available 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM on eLearning days.

Special Programs
Students with IEPs/504 Plans
Special education teachers will provide virtual accommodations and support through
Google Classroom and/or one-on-one check-ins. Related services may occur virtually or be
modified for digital learning.


CTE and Project-Based Courses
Hands-on courses will transition to digital projects, simulations, or skill-building tasks with
online resources.


English Learners
Students will receive translated materials as needed and can access bilingual support
during scheduled times.
